- What is the minimum baud rate between two Bluetooth devices?
- If I have one Master how many slaves can connect to that master?
- Can I use a 12V power supply with the SS-BLT-100?
- How fast upon power on can my SS-BLT-100 be paired and able to make data transfers?
- Can the configuration tool be used in a wireless connection or wired only?
- Can the SS-BLT-100 Bluetooth adapter be set so that it does not need a PIN? I am looking to use it as a cable replacement and do not want to enter a PIN to connect to it.
Q1. What is the minimum baud rate between two Bluetooth devices?
A. The device being used with the SS-BLT-100 must have at least 1200 bps. This is the minimum baud rate of the CSR chipset used in the SS-BLT-100.
Q2. If I have one Master how many slaves can connect to that master?
A. Only one slave to one master can be used.
Q3. Can I use a 12V power supply with the SS-BLT-100?
A. The power supply can be DC 5V~7V at 200 mA or higher. A 12V power supply is not supported or recommended for the SS-BLT-100.
Q4. How fast upon power on can my SS-BLT-100 be paired and able to make data transfers?
A. For units that have previously been paired it takes 3~6 seconds to be paired and able to begin data transfers upon power on. The range of 3~6 seconds depends on how long the distance is and how much blocking or obstacles in the operating environment.
Q5. Can the configuration tool be used in a wireless connection or wired only?
A. The configuration tool can be used with a wired port or with a wireless connection.
Q6. Can the SS-BLT-100 Bluetooth adapter be set so that it does not need a PIN? I am looking to use it as a cable replacement and do not want to enter a PIN to connect to it.
A.Yes, you can disable the PIN code by entering the configuration setup and un-checkmark the PIN code check box. Please view the screenshot for an image.
