AKRON, OHIO, November 5, 2001 -- Quatech Inc., a leading manufacturer of data communication products, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Euroline, a specialized distributor of data communication equipment, for distribution of its mobile serial and parallel data connectivity products in Norway.

The mobile communications market is growing rapidly, and many newer laptops and handheld computers do not have serial or parallel connectivity built in. Quatech's PCMCIA line offers a valuable expansion solution. PCMCIA cards also provide attractive solutions for many embedded systems requiring multiple ports to be implemented using limited space and minimal system resources.
