Cascade Capital Corp. is a not-for-profit lending institution certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Ohio Department of Development. They are focused on fostering economic development in Ashland, Holmes, Medina, Portage, Summit, and Wayne county Ohio by assisting compaines with small business loans and other financing programs. The 2003 Business Growth Awards were presented on October 9, 2003 at a ceremony in Fairlawn, OH.

The Cascade Capital Corp. Business Growth Award is based on several criteria. Award recipients are located in one of the above Ohio counties, they have increased sales by at least 100 percent or $5 million over their most recently completed five-year period (1998-2002), or they have increased total employment by 50 percent or 25 actual employees over the same five-year period. Quatech's award was based on its outstanding increase in sales during this period.
