Building on the company's long-standing tradition of support throughout the implementation process, Quatech's new suite of services is constructed around their extensive data communication, data acquisition, and signal conditioning product lines. The services are designed to provide customers with the amount of assistance they need to implement their applications, and to streamline the system development process. This approach, where hardware development, system integration, and application programming are performed by a single team, provides many advantages. For example, customers benefit from using Quatech engineers who are already familiar with the hardware and how it is implemented under a variety of operating systems and programming environments. Quatech's application services suite consists of several distinct options, any combination of which can be combined into a single contract. First, customized versions of standard Quatech products can be produced and developed based on an extensive analysis of a customer's application. They also offer full service integration programs, in which an engineer will make hardware and software suggestions, create custom software applications, install the system at the customer's site, test and troubleshoot it, and then provide the customer with extensive training on the system. For extended assistance, Quatech also offers support and maintenance contracts with on-site or off-site assistance options. In addition, a consulting option is available for customers who wish to implement their own systems, but want a little extra expert help with hardware and software recommendations during the design and development phase. Finally, specialized training courses, available at Quatech offices or at a customer's site, covering all Quatech product offerings are provided.

Quatech's core product lines include data communication, data acquisition, and signal conditioning for PC-based systems. The communication line consists of multi-port serial and parallel expansion boards for USB, PCMCIA, PCI and ISA bus interfaces. The data acquisition line is comprised of analog and digital I/O boards for portable and desktop PC-based systems. Used in conjunction with Quatech data acquisition boards, the SignalPro Series provides board-level signal conditioning for a wide variety of sensors and signals.
