RoHS Compliance Statement

Quatech is dedicated to complying with the requirements of all applicable environmental legislation and regulations, including the restriction of hazardous materials in our products.

Quatech is fully compliant with the European Union Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment ("RoHS") Directive (2002/95/EC). The RoHS directive prohibits the sale of electronic equipment containing certain hazardous substances such as lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls ("PBB") and polybrominated diphenylethers ("PBDE") in the European Union.

All of Quatech's standard products are designed (or redesigned) to be RoHS-compliant.

WEEE Compliance Statement

The European Union also adopted Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), with requirements that went into effect August 13, 2005. WEEE is intended to reduce the disposal of waste from electrical and electronic equipment by establishing guidelines for prevention, reuse, recycling and recovery.

Quatech has already modified its practices and processes to conform to the requirements in this important Directive.
