Description
Advance PCI technology with Quatech's PCI Express Serial Boards. The new standard serial connectivity card in PCI technology, the PCI Express Card boasts faster bus speeds and deeper FIFO rates. In addition to the bus technology upgrades, the PCI Express Card is the new generation of I/O interconnect standards, supports data transfer rates of up to 800MBPS and hot swapping, plug-n-play connection availability. The PCI Express Low Profile Card is available in 2 or 4 port serial card configurations and offer high-speed, serial I/O bus that maintains backwards capability with PCI applications and drivers. Defined by high performance, scalable, serial bus, the PCI Express Card is dedicated to the device while multiple PCI Express devices can be active without interfering with each other. Quatech also offers 2 port parallel cards; 2 and 4 port serial with one parallel port I/O cards and a PCI Express to ExpressCard drive/reader, in full height configurations.
The DSLP-PCIE-100 and QSLP-PCIE-100 are configured to fit into low profile systems utilizing only one PC slot. The DSLP-PCIE-100 has a fanout cable to connect two serial devices and the QSLP-PCIE-100 had a fanout cable to connect four serial devices. The DSLP-PCIE-100 and the QSLP-PCIE-100 have an optional bracket available to allow the card to also fit into standard height machines.
